1. Do you remember your first best friend? Who was it?
Yups definitely.....her name's Marcia and we have known each other since we were 5! We used to do every single little thing together. We were basically inseperable.

2. Are you still in touch with this person?
On and off but not as often as I hope it would be. Though we are both in the same city and we live like 10 minutes apart we have not seen each other in months!

3. Do you have a current close friend?
More than one! I've been bestbuds with these 3 gals since I was 14, Kristin, Aineel and Clarissa. We are all in different countries now but do try to keep in touch via email or msn. There are 2 other good buddies, Chad and Dawn. We met here in Sydney about 3 years ago? Though we hardly chat or see each other since Dawn is back in KL we keep in touch via email and stay the really really good buddies!

4. How did you become friends with this person?
Man there are 5 of them! They are all totally different people and have stunning personalities. I guess opposites attract?

5. Is there a friend from your past that you wish you were still in contact with? Why?
Well Marcia, we hardly ever keep in touch and though our families know each other etc we hardly see each other. Wish we could still be bestbuds tho. However each time we DO meet up we create such a stir and talk non stop....

On to other matters, I had a very promising interview today with this real estate agent. I have been called back for a trial on Monday and if everything goes well I've gotten myself a job! I really can't wait and believe that the job would suit be in every way. I met the owners who actually run the business too and they are all young, vibrant, energetic and intelligent. Very much the people I would like to work with.

How's my gym coming along? Well, I have been going religiously everyday and today I had a session with my personal trainer Goce. He spells it this way on his name tag I guess I got his name spelt wrongly from the receptionist. Anyways Fel and I have decided to have him as our permanent personal trainer. We will be seeing him once a week for the next 10 weeks and we shall see if we need him for later. I find him really good as he is an extremely good motivator and knows what I am capable of, in addition to that we get along real well and thats an extremely good sign for me. I wouldnt want a PT who I can't talk to but just stand there and work out with him. Becky has asked me to get a photo of him since I've been saying that he's good looking! Haha...well I can't deny that even Fel says so! Anyways my mission according to Becky is to get a picture of him and find out his sexual preference! *LOL* But I can say that he is very much straight......hehe

Rightyoo...time to rush off.

I am now officially a gym addict! Started today with my Personal Trainer and boy is he young! I was actually laughing to myself when I first saw him cause when he rang up I had a picture of this huge buffed up guy that was in his mid 30s and when I saw Gaco(he's Australian but parents Hungarian) I was really taken aback. First of all he's cute and he's got that Josh Hartnett thing going on, not too tall and has a toned body instead of those menacing muscles. So yes I am blessed that I have a cute and funny Personal Trainer, however I have yet to get his name right. It's a hard one to pronounce I think its something like Go-Chio and I'm too shy to ask him but then I might have to. I was with him for about an hour today, first few minutes we talked about my goals and why I was at the gym. Worked that out and he showed me which machines I should use. In total I was there for about an hour and a half this morning.

Got home had some lunch and Fel suggested we go again cause he wants to go, so I decided to go for a class instead, Body Combat. It was one of the best classes I have ever been too! It even beats Jazz. We were in there for like 10 minutes and I was sweating, even with jazz it takes me a good half hour before I start to sweat. Body Combat is basically an incorporation of aerobics, martial arts and boxing. It was good fun and I really sweated it out. Fel absolutely loved it too and says we should go back for more Body Combat classes, no complaints here!

As for my interviews, I turned them down there were two and both were basically direct sales. Their ads are so misleading it says sales, promotions and marketing. Now for me I would have thought marketing or sales was office work and promotions meant you brain storm about promoting a product and then later go out to do it, maybe its just me but thats what I thought it would be but nopes they are ALL direct sales. They do not call themselves direct sales but rather they say they go from small to medium sized businesses and this meant LITERALLY. Of course these are not the jobs for me. So yes I am still hunting for work its been a week, I'm not really in a hurry but of course a job would be good. Job equals money equals shopping!

Plans for tomorrow = get information on postgraduate courses and gym! I might just try pilates tomorrow, hope it would not be too slow for me.

It has been AGES since I last updated namely because right after my exams I had tons of stuff to do every day and it is only today that I have had the chance to properly sit in front of the pc without rushing off somewhere. I just got back from Shangri-La Hotel formerly known as ANA Hotel. We spent the night there as our short getaway cum 1st anniversary present. How was it? Well the room was pretty standard though it had a fantastic view of the harbour and Opera House but other than that it was very "shangrilaish" if you know what I mean. See the stupid thing was I did not know that ANA Hotel changed ownership and management so quickly since I only heard about it a month ago. If I had known I would've used my mom's discount card! However our weekend was complete with a very delicious dinner over at Level Forty One. I would recommend it to anyone, my favourite dish was the Quaill Egg, Scallops, Chicken Soup and Lamb. The desert was fantastic! However pre-desert was much too sweet for my liking, it was raspberry sorbet and well I just don't have a thing for sorbets. I would highly recommend the sticky date pudding and dark chocolate truffle!

Btw, here are my Friday Fives. Seems that I have not been able to do them on time for the past 2-3 Fridays.

1. What were your favorite childhood stories?
Would stories mean books? Cause most of my stories were read to me or I had to read them out, they would be Dennis the Menace and Little Red Riding Hood for very young toddlers and as I grew older Enid Blyton books, Roald Dahl and basically anything that was published by Penguin Books as well as Puffin

2. What books from your childhood would you like to share with [your] children?
Enid Blytons, Roald Dahl, and the entire collection from Penguin and Puffin.

3. Have you re-read any of those childhood stories and been surprised by anything?
Well no not really but until today I still enjoy books by Roald Dahl. I think he's a terrific writer! He was probably the only author that got me addicted to books.(parents were basically responsible for introducing the love of books.)

4. How old were you when you first learned to read?
I can't remember exactly but I was told that my brother and I both knew how to hold picture books and flip through them at the age of 3 months and we would both insist on taking at least one book with us as we sat on our potty to do our business!! Since I was born I remember being surrounded by books, flash cards and we had tons of educational posters hanging around the house. However I do remember when I was a young toddler my parents bought me a little red cassette player that had a microphone and we had books such as Dennis the Menace and Little Red Riding Hood. The trick here was for me to put the cassette in and press play, I would then have to take out my own book and read together with the reader. When it was time to turn the page there was a signal, I guess that's when I learnt? When I was about 4 I started going for phonetics classes, later on it was followed by Effective English classes where I learnt how to recite poetry.

5. Do you remember the first 'grown-up' book you read? How old were you?
Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, David Copperfield and you know the classics. Can't remember which was the first as I had a library of books in the study. Most of which I read before I was 10. Then puberty hit and started reading really girly books such as Sweet Valley! Though before then my books were mainly very "english" as my parents wanted me to learn the correct and proper way of reading and writing. What would you know I majored in English at Uni. I guess my weekend visits to the library and bookstores paid off real well! I remember every Sunday we would go to the Library at Shah Alam, Malaysia and on Fridays/Saturdays when my parents did grocery shopping they left us at the bookstore and my brother and I would sit on the floor devouring books!

After reading this I think everyone would now understand how mad I am about books but I think that I have come to the point where I need a break from books. In this semester alone (12 weeks) I have read at least 10 books. Last semester I read 5 Jane Austen books and well the list goes on if I backtrack. I am guessing that in a year I would have read at least 15 books and only 3 would be for pleasure. Books are my life! And sometimes I go mad reading. Right now since Uni is over and done with I am concentrating on playing the piano again utilize the gym and maybe just maybe start on my ballet again, am hoping to get myself in shape so that I can start my pointe work once again. Btw would anyone know where I could get piano notations of Moon River? Free ones that I can download online. If you do please leave the link in my comment box it would be greatly appreciated!
